  • Distilled monoglyceride (DGM): Cross-domain application spectrum

  • 📝Product Overview

DGM is a high-purity glycerol monostearate refined through molecular distillation, effectively removing free glycerol, diesters/triesters, and other impurities. The product features a light color (white to pale yellow), low odor, and excellent stability, with a purity of ≥90%.

As a non-ionic surfactant, it offers multifunctional properties including emulsification, thickening, lubrication, and anti-caking. It meets food-grade (INS 471), cosmetic-grade, and pharmaceutical-grade standards, ensuring safety and environmental friendliness.

  • 🚀Areas of application

    1️⃣Food Industry

Dairy Products/Ice Cream: Control ice crystal growth, improve melt resistance and creamy texture

Margarine/Shortening: Prevent oil phase separation, enhance whippability and stability

Baked Goods: Delay starch retrogradation, extend shelf life of bread/cakes, and maintain softness

Instant Powders (Coffee/Protein Powder): Improve dispersibility and solubility, reduce clumping

Candy/Chocolate: Regulate fat crystallization, prevent surface frosting

    2️⃣Cosmetics and personal care

Emulsification systems: Primary emulsifier (O/W type) in creams/lotions, improving stability

Pearlescent agents: Generating uniform pearlescent luster in shampoos/body washes

Thickeners: Enhancing the viscosity of facial cleansers, improving paste firmness

Skin feel modifiers: Giving products a silky texture, reducing stickiness

    3️⃣Pharmaceutical Industry

Solid Dosage Forms: Lubricant for tablets/granules (reduces tableting adhesion), aids in disintegration

Semi-Solid Dosage Forms: Emulsifying base for creams/ointments (e.g., hydrophilic creams listed in the pharmacopoeia)

Controlled-Release Carriers: Scaffold material for sustained-release formulations (requires use with other excipients)

    4️⃣PVC processing

Rigid PVC (profiles/tubes/sheets): Reduces melt torque, increases extrusion speed, and inhibits shark skin defects. Promotes uniform plasticization and prevents localized overheating degradation

Flexible PVC (cable compounds/films/artificial leather): Enhances demolding properties, prevents roll adhesion, and optimizes melt flowability.

Transparent products (medical devices/bottle sheets): High compatibility, zero migration, inhibits haze formation, maintains transparency.

High-filler formulations (calcium carbonate flooring/wood-plastic composites): Optimizes filler dispersion, coats filler particles, reduces friction heat, minimizes equipment wear.

  • 📦Packaging and Storage

    Packaging Method

    25 kg/bag (paper-plastic composite bag + PE lining)

    🌡️ Storage Conditions

Temperature and Humidity: Store in a cool, dry place (≤30°C🌡️, humidity ≤70%💧)

Safety Precautions: Store in a light-protected, sealed container🔒, away from acids, alkalis, and oxidizers⚠️

Shelf Life: 24 months in original packaging
