  • What is Fischer Tropsch Wax?

  • 🔬Product Overview

Fischer-Tropsch Wax (FT Wax) is produced using a natural gas synthesis process (Fischer-Tropsch synthesis), converting CO and H₂ into high-purity straight-chain alkanes (90–95% content) under high pressure and with a specialized catalyst. Its core characteristics include a high melting point, low viscosity, and high hardness, and it is non-toxic and odorless.

  • Core Application Areas

    🧪 Plastic and Masterbatch Processing

High-efficiency lubricants: Used in PVC and engineering plastics (such as PA, PC) to reduce melt viscosity and improve filler dispersion.

Masterbatch Carrier: Prevents pigment agglomeration in color masterbatches and improves surface gloss.

    🔧Adhesive Industry

EVA Hot-Melt Adhesive Modifier: Enhances heat resistance, improves substrate wetting, and reduces open time.

Food-Grade Adhesive: FDA-certified, suitable for bonding food contact packaging.

    🎨 Coatings and Inks

    Functional Modification

Ink: Micropowder form (particle size 5–20 μm) enhances abrasion resistance and creates artistic wrinkling effects such as water patterns and stripes in coatings.

Powder coatings: Acts as an extrusion lubricant, reduces extrusion energy consumption, and improves flowability.

    Industrial coatings

Used in automotive and metal protective coatings to enhance surface hardness (penetration ≤0.6) and scratch resistance.

    ⚙️ Other industrial fields

Rubber processing: Acts as an antioxidant, migrating to the rubber surface to form a protective film and delay ozone cracking.

Metal polishing: High hardness (penetration 0.6) provides uniform grinding force, used as a carrier for wax-based polishing paste.

Cosmetics: Used as a solid base for lipstick and creams, with a narrow melting point range (112–117°C) to ensure stable formation at body temperature.

Biofuel feedstock: Hydrocracked to produce Fischer-Tropsch synthetic kerosene (FT-SPK), which can replace traditional aviation fuel.Packaging and Storage

  • 📦Packaging and Storage

     Packaging Options:

    25kg/PE moisture-proof valve bag (moisture-resistant design)

    🌡️ Storage Guidelines:

Temperature: ≤30°C (may melt and form lumps at temperatures above 35°C)

Environment: Dry and well-ventilated • Keep away from oxidizers/strong acids

Stacking: ≤3 layers • Inspect for leaks monthly
