Product Introduction
Calcined Kaolin, with CAS No. 92704-41-1,is a high-performance anhydrous functional filler produced by calcining selected, well-crystallized high-purity kaolin at a strictly controlled high temperature of 700–1000℃.
Unlike hydrous kaolin and ordinary mineral fillers, our calcined kaolin delivers a high refractive index (about 1.62) combined with a porous, plate-like particle morphology. This gives finished products superior opacity, matte surface control and dimensional reinforcement, making it a preferred functional extender in premium coating, paint, plastic and rubber formulations worldwide.

Product Advantages
Superior Opacity & Hiding Power: The high refractive index and porous plate structure deliver strong light scattering, effectively enhancing the opacity of coating and paint films while partially replacing more expensive titanium dioxide
High Temperature Resistance: As a fully anhydrous calcined mineral, it remains chemically and dimensionally stable under high-temperature processing without decomposition or gas release
Excellent Reinforcement: The rigid plate-like crystal structure improves the rigidity, hardness and dimensional stability of plastic and rubber products, reducing warpage and shrinkage
Outstanding Electrical Insulation: High resistivity and low ionic impurities make it an ideal functional filler for wire, cable and electrical component applications
Strong Chemical Inertness: Insoluble in water and resistant to most acids and alkalis, it will not interfere with the curing reaction of coating, adhesive and sealant systems
Application Scenarios
Coating & Paint Industry: Widely used in architectural latex paints, industrial and anti-corrosion coatings, powder coatings, and matte/flat finishes to enhance opacity, scrub resistance and matte performance
Paper Making & Coating: Applied in high-grade coated paper, decorative base paper and packaging paper to improve opacity, smoothness, printability and ink absorption
Plastic & Rubber Industry: Used in PVC profiles, PP/PE modified materials, engineering plastics, wire and cable insulation, and rubber sealing products to boost rigidity and electrical performance
Ceramics & Refractories: Serves as a high-alumina raw material in ceramics and refractory products, improving thermal shock resistance and mechanical strength
Other Industrial Fields: Suitable for fiberglass, catalyst carriers, molecular sieves, high-grade fillers, agricultural chemical carriers and other advanced industrial scenarios
